Positive: Room was nice and spacious, didn't get to use much of the facilities as was just a one-night stay, but room was spacious, and staff were really nice and helpful.
Negative: Restaurants in the hotel are all extremely expensive, there's no cheaper options. A car is really needed to get to Hakone or other areas to eat locally.

Positive: Not many options for food. Unless you have the set breakfast all other options are closed until 11 AM. Isolated and hard to get around if looking at exploring.
Negative: Clean and large property.

Positive: Location was great; the hotel is also well connected with shuttle buses. Decent Onsen on site, but it didn’t offer much entertainment for the kids. Not an issue with the Onsen - just that it’s not a kids activity.
Negative: There are few food options at the hotel, and virtually no nearby alternatives. The value for money of the hotel food was poor. The hotel facilities are also dated - they were probably great in the 1980s, but would now benefit from a refurbishment.
Summary: Great location, would benefit from refurbishment and better value for money food options.
